Ecology
The branch of biology dealing with the relations and interactions between organisms and their environment.
Quarantine
A strick isolation imposed to prevent the spread of disease. Disease and viruses are everywhere and there is no getting away from them; there is only safe-guarding and preventing spreads. In an ecosystem the organisms and environment work together to protect against devastation and sustain itself as a whole. What if airports could do the same? By using security systems and its own built environment, airports can filter, scan and quarantine protecting its occupants against disease and the spread of viruses.

Project: Apartment Complex
Location: Troy, New York
Project Description: In downtown Troy, near the new city hall, an apartment complex is needed. On the river front this location makes it a prime housing spot for Troy. The building is made up of an aggregated cube which follows a system repeated over and over to create the different apartments within the complex. There are six studios, four one bedroom, and four two bedroom apartments.
A library, retail store, and a gym are also part of the complex. The piped system creates all of the halls, elevators and exit stairways.

Division: This project was a hybrid structure based on the elements of tensegrity and a folded plate system.
Division refers to the dividing of the public and private spaces. The lit space is the public and active area, while the dark is the private and resting space.
This project started out as a rotating changing set of modules. Through iteration after iteration we changed the system into three interlocking parts.
Project was selected to be built full scale at Albany International Airport’s Gallery

While working at Tangram Int, I was put on many projects, and was able to go out on site for some installations.

At Starwood Hotels I helped to wire LED Lights, CNC MDF for the main lobby stairwell wall, and help to build/install four hanging structures also in the main lobby.
For Spike TV and DC Comics, I also helped to wire LED lights, as well as CNC mill parts out of MDF and PLY for desks, TV monitor housings, and display cases.
